Nicholas Paramithis is a survivor of a traumatic brain injury resulting from a car accident in 2007 that changed his life forever. After a long 10 months of recovery at the JFK Treatment Center for brain injuries, Nicholas was finally able to come home. He continued to work hard and persevere through daily challenges that life threw his way. But Nicholas didn't stop there; he and the Paramithis family were determined to pay it forward by fundraising for Miles for Minds to support a cause that had affected their family so deeply. Initially, Nicholas struggled to walk the mile, but today he runs the 5K with the same resilience and strength he carried with him when facing the obstacles during his recovery.
