Team Miles for Maria is hitting the pavement at the Teal Power 5K Run and 3K Walk supporting the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati to honor a remarkable young woman who is taking on ovarian cancer with fierce determination. Every step we take raises awareness, funds critical research, and wraps Maria in the strength of her community.
Maria's Story
At just 29 years old, Maria was diagnosed with a rare form of stage 3 ovarian cancer: low grade serous carcinoma. She has already undergone major surgery and is currently in the midst of chemotherapy treatment. Through every challenge, every infusion, and every tough day, Maria has shown extraordinary courage and resilience, and of course has done it all with a smile on her face. Now, it's our turn to show up for her.
