Yoga Bharati is a non-profit, 501 c(3) organization with a vision of enhancing health, happiness, knowledge, & peace through a holistic approach to yoga from its authentic decolonized roots. We conduct yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and programs to create awareness about yoga, its philosophy, and its relevance to humanity. We aim to build a team of motivated yoga teachers, therapists, researchers, and volunteers to achieve our mission and vision.  We are all inclusive organization and welcome people of all race, ethnicities, and gender and sexual orientations.

Our education courses include Yoga Teacher’s Training and Diploma in Yoga Therapy course. Yoga Bharati is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance (RYS 200). We also offer an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training course to enable students to become RYT-500 level advanced certified teachers. Our Diploma in Yoga Therapy certification course is accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

We are affiliated with Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation (SVYASA), a premier yoga university in Bengaluru, India. Based on 30 years of in-depth study in the field of yoga, SVYASA has published many research papers on yoga and its therapeutic applications. Our goal is to combine the best of modern scientific research methodologies with the best of the eastern tradition of yoga and spirituality as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda in the 19th century.
