Maine iCan Bike

iCan Shine (www.icanshine.org) is a non-profit organization that partners with local communities to provide adaptive recreational opportunities for children and youth with disabilities. Specifically, the Maine iCan Bike camp offers a one-week learn-to-ride camp to teach children with disabilities how to ride a two-wheel bicycle. The camp is about so much more than learning to ride a bike. The program helps participants build self-confidence, increase self-efficacy, gain independence, improve health behaviors, and address social inclusion.

Every year we have up to 40 riders and their families participate in camp. All proceeds go directly to supporting our camp programming including scholarships for riders based on need. Your support can help change lives—donate today to empower individuals with disabilities to gain confidence, independence, and the joy of riding a bike through iCan Bike Camp.
