Malibu Moves: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1-Mi & 1K

Donation Goal: $100,000

Malibu Moves is committed to supporting fire recovery, youth programming, and local resilience following the devastating Palisades Fire. All funds raised through Malibu Moves 2025—through race net profits, donations, and fundraising—will be directed toward our three impact tiers:

  • Youth First: Up to the first $35,000 will support arts, mental health, and learning recovery through the Malibu Education Foundation and partner organizations.

  • Fire-Ready: The next $35,000 will help equip and support Malibu-area fire prevention and emergency response efforts.

  • Community Resilience: Funds raised beyond $70,000 will be granted to trusted local nonprofits helping small businesses and families rebuild.

To ensure funds are used effectively, we’re working closely with the City of Malibu and community partners to identify where support is needed most.

Transparency Note:
All funds will be allocated and distributed through vetted local nonprofits. A full impact report will be shared within 90 days of the event. The fiscal entity for the Malibu Community Relief Fund is Move Together Association (Tax ID #99-3051234), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
