Sgt. Eddie Ryan, a Marine sniper, was seriously injured during his third tour in Iraq in April 2005. Shot twice, he lost sight in his left eye and suffered brain damage that impacted his motor skills. Since then, he has worked hard to regain movement and core strength while confined to a wheelchair.
Eddie had dreamed of being a Marine since childhood, inspired by his father’s service. After the 9/11 attacks, his commitment deepened. He enlisted right after high school in 2002.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation paid off his mortgage and renovated his Lake George, NY home to better meet his needs.
Team “Sgt. Eddie Ryan’s T2T Warriors” is rallying to give back to the Foundation so that our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families may continue to be supported.
