I am a dad, husband, coach, law enforcement leader, proud longtime resident of Montgomery County and now a Democratic candidate for Montgomery County Sheriff.
I am running for Montgomery County Sheriff because the Sheriff’s Office is broken. Morale is low, Deputy Sheriffs are leaving in droves, and essential services provided by the Sheriff’s Office are inadequate and threaten the public safety of our community. I bring to this race over 20 years of law enforcement experience and a vision to move the Office forward.
As Sheriff I will:
recruit candidates to fill staff vacancies,
hold domestic abusers accountable,
provide care for individuals navigating mental health challenges,
focus on the apprehension of fugitives,
serve as a fierce public advocate for the needs of the residents of Montgomery County,
work collaboratively with other County agencies to ensure a safe and secure community,
partner with educators to promote student success.
With your support, together we can fix what has been broken – restore morale in the Department; fulfill the responsibilities mandated by Maryland law; and implement initiatives to enhance community safety.
