I was diagnosed in 2019, when I was 24 years old. I had noticed a lump in my right thigh that eventually presented itself to be Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma. It spread to my lungs as well which makes me stage IV. I started treatment using Atezolizumaub, a form of immunotherapy which im thankful to still be doing to this day. It has kept me stable and feeling strong for the past six years now. I got my primary tumor surgically resected (with clear margins) in 2021 and my lung nodules continue to remain stable. I advocate for awareness of Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma and research advancement through this walk, and any donation is very appreciated and near to my heart.
