The Detroit Curling Club members are proud supporters of the Michigan Men's Health Foundation in honor of the late Patrick Cannon, DCC Member, proud Killer Flamingo & Sinner who we lost in 2020. Pat joined the club in 2010 and quickly became part of the fabric of the club along with Ann. Pat was a fine curler, but really lit up the arena with his smile, his laugh, and a quick-witted comment. During his life, Pat was a runner. When he was not out on the course running, he could be found cheering on his friends and family from the sidelines. That was just how Pat was. Pat was a huge supporter of the Michigan Men’s Health Foundation and it is with great honor that the members of the Detroit Curling Club continue that support in his honor. This is our 4th year attending this event. We know that Pat will be smiling down on his fellow curlers a little harder on this day.
