GiGi's Playhouse New Orleans Down Syndrome Achievement Center's mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome (DS) and send a global message of acceptance for all!

GiGi's vision is to see a world where individuals with DS are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities.

We accomplish our mission through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based programs for individuals with DS of all ages and their families at our Down Syndrome Achievement Center and by spreading the message of acceptance in the Greater New Orleans community.

GiGi’s Playhouse is a volunteer-run organization, and we rely on the skill and dedication of volunteers of varying experiences to keep our programs vibrant, educational, fun, and free. 

GiGi's programs are provided for free so that cost is never a barrier for achievement.  

We prepare people with Down syndrome for the world, and we prepare the world to include people with Down syndrome.
