Yes, but please don't turn the volume up too high. You need to be able to hear any volunteer or course monitor information. We are an open course race so there is a chance that you could encounter a car or golf cart, however you should not experience significant traffic since it is January.

Yes- someone may pick up your packet for you at early packet pick up (Fleet Feet) or on race day at the Fish Fry Shack.
Yes, all runners must finish the race within 2.0 hours of the start.
Runners finishing after 2.0 hours may not receive an official time.
We have plenty of porta potties at the start/finish at the Fish Fry Shack and will have potties on the course as well.
Yes! Our water stations will provide only water. You are welcome to bring your own hydration or wear a camelbak.

No. Please plan to leave your personal items in your vehicle and lock your vehicle. We have ample parking near the Start/Finish area.
If you are picking up your packet on race day, please give yourself enough time to pick up the packet and walk any items you do not want to run/walk with back to your car.
Early packet pick up will be at Fleet Feet Mount Pleasant from 11 AM - 6 PM on Thursday, January 22.
Race day packet pick up is January 24, 2026 from 6:30 AM until 8:15 AM at the Fish Fry Shack.
We will close packet pick up promptly at 8:15 AM so we can start the run/walk on time.
All runners and walkers will receive a finisher's medal. We also have overall, age group, and masters/grand masters/great grand masters awards.
We raise funds for the Charlie Post Scholarship Fund at the College of Charleston and the Charleston Animal Society.
YES! We love our littlest runners and strollers are allowed in both distances (15K and 5K).
No. Our run/walk is entirely staffed by volunteers. We spend Fridays marking the course and getting the Fish Fry Shack ready for the after party.
You may pick up your packet on Saturday at the start/finish line, or a friend/family member may pick it up for you (on Thursday or Saturday).

If you win an award, you must pick it up at the run/walk or at our designated location pick up location post run.
