Mission Statement:
JBJ Soul Kitchen seeks to provide healthy, locally-sourced food in a warm and welcoming restaurant setting to in-need and paying customer to address the issues of food insecurity. We empower individuals by prociding resources and volunteer opportunities. We encourage our paying customers to effect change by 'paying it forward' to cover the cost of the in-need customers.
We promise to treat all our customers with dignity and respect while uniting communities and forming healthy and lasting relationships through food.

History:
Founded in 2006, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing about positive change in the lives of those experiencing poverty, homelessness, and hunger. The Foundation is a hybrid organization - both awarding grants to community benefit organizations and creating programs in local communities. To day, the Foundation has funded over 50 projects supporting hunger and housing initiatives across 12 states and Washington, D.C., resulting in nearly 1,000 affordable housing unites for thousands of individuals and families.
