Get ready to run, crawl, climb, splash, and laugh your way through the ultimate dog-and-human adventure! The K9 X Games Muddy Mutts Obstacle Course is designed for teams who want to test their teamwork, confidence, endurance, and bond while having an unforgettable muddy good time.
Handlers and dogs will work together through a fun, challenging course filled with obstacles, mud, movement, and excitement. Teams may encounter jumps, tunnels, tires, climbing obstacles, weaving challenges, water features, low crawls, balance areas, and other creative farm-style obstacles built for fun and adventure.
This course is not about being perfect — it is about teamwork, trust, and finishing together. Whether your dog is fast, cautious, silly, focused, or just along for the snacks, every team will have a chance to participate, laugh, and make memories.

Yes, there is race day registration available.
No for your safety 1 dog and hanadler team, but you can sign up to run the entire course a second time
Yes, All dogs must remain leashed at all times before, during and after the race.
You can walk around the obstacle, But we would encourage you to atempt it, you may be surprised.
Yes, you can use a lure. However, be mindful of the dogs behind you. If you use treats, make sure to pick up any that your pup may not have eaten.
Yes, reactive dogs can participate. We welcome all dogs and recommend speaking with our team about your dog's needs so we can help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Standard, non-retractable leash 6' in length. No retractable leashes. Bungee leashes are permitted.
Never force your dog through, over or under an obsacle, inseated true luring the dog Encourage them with your treat or toy, If the dog is still unsure, just walk around the obstacle.
If a runner catches up to you , simply move over and let them pass you
A martingale collar works great for control and escape artists. A non restrictive pulling harness thats sits behind the rib cage - not around the neck. A standard walking or no pull hserness is prohibited due to the shoulder movement restriction.
It's your time. Your race is complete when you cross the finish line
Yes there will be plenty of drinking water along the course, but in October on the ranch water is not a problem
They will not be far, within a short walkiing distance
