This program is designed for runners looking to run their first 5K or to run a 5K after taking a break from running. For runners looking to improve their 5K time, we recommend that you sign up for the 10K program. The goal race will be the Dallas BMW 5k on Saturday, December 14th 2024 though you may train for a different race. Runs will depart from the parking lot of the White Rock Alehouse & Brewery on Saturday mornings at 6:30AM and Tuesday evenings at 7:15PM.  https://www.whiterockalehouse.com/

This program is designed to prepare runners for half marathons scheduled in the Fall Season (December). Our goal race will be the BMW Dallas Half Marathon on December 14th, 2025, though you may train for a different race.  

Runners of all paces and experience are invited to join.  We recommend that runners who begin the 13.1 training program be consistently running 3 days per week and at least 15 miles total per week in the 4 weeks leading up to the start of the season.
