WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY – CSNJ & Thryve 

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the events hosted by Catholic Singles NJ (CSNJ) and Yes We Thryve (Thryve), I, the participant, intending to be legally bound, hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages or injuries that I may sustain, or that may occur to me or my property, as a result of my participation in this event.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this outdoor social activity, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, exposure to weather, interactions with other attendees, and consumption of food or beverages. I understand these risks and choose to participate at my own discretion.

I further release and hold harmless the event organizers, Catholic Singles NJ (CSNJ), Yes We Thryve (Thryve), volunteers, affiliated partners, facility owners, and their respective agents and representatives from any and all liability or claims arising out of or in connection with my participation, including but not limited to illness, injury, allergic reactions, or property damage.

I understand that this is a voluntary social gathering, and I am solely responsible for determining my physical condition and readiness to participate. I agree to act responsibly and respectfully during the event and to comply with any safety guidance provided by event staff or volunteers.

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the event organizers or their designees to obtain necessary medical treatment on my behalf and accept full financial responsibility for any resulting costs.

I grant full permission for the use of my name, likeness, image, voice, or appearance in photographs, video, or other recordings taken during this event for promotional and informational purposes—including use on social media, websites, and any CSNJ or Thryve publications—without compensation or further approval.

I acknowledge that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. CSNJ and Thryve reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

By registering, I also give permission to be added to the Catholic Singles NJ and Thryve mailing lists, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver and release of liability.
