We’re raising funds to support research, treatment, and awareness for X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD)—a rare genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and adrenal glands. Our son Beckham was diagnosed at birth during a newborn screening with this condition due to a genetic mutation.
X-ALD is progressive and can be devastating without early detection and treatment. We’re fighting back by funding critical research, supporting families affected by X-ALD, and pushing for better screening and care. We are blessed and thankful that Beckham has only had minimal symptoms that are manageable but also recognize that not every family and young boy has had the same luck. We pray for those boys and their families and fight to increase awareness and funding!
