We run to honor Betty English. She was visually impaired since she was a teenager and was blessed with multiple guide dogs throughout her life. Betty inspired many by her courageous fight for visually impaired people. She was the President of the Palm Beach Chapter of The National Federation of the Blind.
As Betty's granddaughter, I grew up witnessing the great impact of a Guide Dog. Also, enjoying them becoming part of our family! Now our family tries to support the great work of The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind because they have given life to our family in so many ways!
