We're walking to help trauma survivors heal — and we need your support.
The Maine EMDR Trauma Recovery Network is proud to be part of Trauma Recovery/HAP, a national nonprofit dedicated to bringing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to communities impacted by trauma. Whether it’s a natural disaster, a violent event, or systemic hardship, trauma affects individuals, families, and entire communities — and access to quality care can be life-changing.
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people process and recover from traumatic experiences. As trauma therapists here in Maine, we’ve seen firsthand how EMDR can reduce suffering, restore hope, and support long-term healing. Through the Trauma Recovery Network (TRN), we provide pro bono EMDR services to individuals after crises, including survivors of mass violence and natural disasters.
Your donation helps fund:
- Training EMDR therapists to serve in their local TRNs
- Emergency response efforts when communities need us most
- Ongoing support and resources for trauma recovery networks nationwide
By supporting this fundraiser, you're helping us bring healing where it's needed most — and making sure no one has to face trauma alone.
Thank you for walking with us. 💛
