Why I Am participating in the Sole Burner event for the American Cancer Society:
This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love.
As I do every year, on May 9th, I am walking in the 2026 American Cancer Society Sole Burner 5K walk/run on a team that honors the memory of Chris Dantoin, my nephew's namesake. As part of the Sole Burner, I am raising money for the American Cancer Society, and was wondering if you would be interested in helping me out with a pledge (to do so click on the "Donate" button in the upper right)? My goal is to raise $500.
