About Us:
Rumpshaker, Inc. is a nonprofit organization formed by friends and family in memory of Lisa Martz. Founded in 2009, our mission is to promote awareness about colorectal cancer, raise funds to fight and treat it, and provide hope for colorectal cancer survivors and those affected by the disease. We are excited that you have decided to share our mission by becoming a fundraiser!

Important facts and how you can help  
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, but with recommended screenings, it is preventable, treatable, and beatable! By creating and circulating your personalized Rumpshaker, Inc. fundraising page, you will help us carry out our mission. Together we can touch the lives of many individuals here in Alabama, from patients and their families, to physicians.

Specifically, your fundraising efforts will educate individuals and raise awareness about colorectal cancer by means of the Rumpshaker 5K, a traveling 30-foot inflatable colon display, and other events. Funds will also go to fight colorectal cancer in Birmingham, by providing financial assistance to local hospitals for purchasing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Additionally, funds will go to provide hope for colorectal cancer patients in Alabama through support of the Lisa Martz Hope Fund.
