Hello friends.
For me, becoming part of ECDC African Community Center in Denver, CO began in 1981. I was in seminary in Texas, and the place where I worked hired several refugees from Laos. Through the relationships I built with my Lao coworkers 40 years ago, I began a life journey down a path that allowed me to live out my faith as part of the refugee resettlement networks in Texas, Minnesota and Colorado. After a move to Denver, a Google search and a couple of emails, my journey led me to ACC. I've been on staff here for nearly two years, and I'm inspired daily by our mission of helping refugees and immigrants rebuild safe and sustainable lives. I'm amazed and blessed by the group of talented and generous coworkers, volunteers and donors who have joined hands and rallied around this life-changing mission. In these times of division and unrest, I love being part of an organization that brings people together, reunites families, offers hope and allows us to walk along side some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
I'm reaching out to you and offering an opportunity to be a part of this work. Join me on this journey. Consider a gift to ACC to help advance our mission. Make a difference in the life of an individual or family that will impact generations to come.
Thank you.
Ron
