My life changed over two years ago when I discovered a bump on my hip that just didn’t make sense. With the help of my friend Dr. Scillia, the expert care of Dr. Wittig (my surgeon), and the guidance of oncologist Dr. Tap at MSK, I learned it was a rare sarcoma—myxoid liposarcoma with round cells. Thanks to surgery, chemo, and radiation, I’m grateful to be doing well today.

But not everyone is so fortunate. Sarcoma is often resistant to treatment and makes up 15–20% of childhood cancers. That’s why funding research is critical.
