In 2011 we lost my uncle Rich to this terrible diseases. In his honor and legacy my aunt Mindy has created this wonderful organization that I now sit on the board on.
We are Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) and we fund colorectal cancer screening programs for medical clinics and provide educational services to individuals, groups, and corporations for the purpose of defeating colorectal cancer.
Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer in men and women and diagnosis is rising in younger communities. Timely screening and awareness about GI symptoms not to ignore is what saves lives.
