This fundraiser is in honor of Brian Snider - our husband, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, family, and friend. He has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer since his official diagnosis on November 4, 2024. He is a fighter and has kept a positive attitude through this whole ordeal, and we are blessed he is responding well to chemo treatments and know he will be up and back at life 100% soon. Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer in men and women and diagnosis is rising in younger communities. Early detection at younger ages due to family history would have most likely caught this before he got to stage 4. Timely screening and awareness about GI symptoms not to ignore is what saves lives. Please donate however you feel led to support Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) to help fund colorectal cancer screening programs for medical clinics and provide educational services to individuals, groups, and corporations for the purpose of defeating colorectal cancer.
A little aside - Team Optimus Brian came from my Godson, Dean Upchurch, calling Optimus Prime, Optimus Brian, without fail, and our team support name for Brian's fight was born!
