The Emily Shane Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved middle school students through its unique SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program. Founded in memory of 13-year-old Emily Shane, who was tragically killed in 2010, the foundation transforms loss into purpose by ensuring that "each child matters."

Through one-on-one academic mentorship, social-emotional support, and life skill development, the foundation helps struggling students who would otherwise fall through the cracks. The SEA Program pairs these students with trained college mentors who guide them weekly, fostering both academic improvement and personal growth.

The foundation serves youth across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and operates on the guiding principle that acts of kindness and service can create a ripple effect of positive change.
