Audubon Center at Debs Park

The Audubon Center at Debs Park inspires people to experience, understand, and care for the natural world. Through hands-on education, community science, habitat restoration, and public programs, we connect people of all ages with nature and empower them to take an active role in protecting it. Fostering a future where both people and wildlife thrive together in a more resilient Los Angeles.

This annual run directly supports our workforce development program, FLIGHT (Future Leaders Igniting Greater Habitat Transformation), which cultivates the next generation of environmental leaders. Through collaborative internships, FLIGHT provides youth with opportunities to engage their communities, learn about California’s native flora and fauna, and grow into confident stewards of the environment.

Operated by Audubon California, a state field program of the National Audubon Society, the Center plays a vital role in advancing Audubon’s national initiative to engage diverse communities in conservation and connect people to the natural spaces that sustain us all.
