Dear AWESOME triathletes & duathletes that have registered for this year’s event on August 23rd; A packet pick-up & race day email was emailed out the week before the event. Please check your spam/junk folder as sometimes it ends up there. Here's a summary if you can't find it:
Packet pick-up details
When: Thursday, August 21st
What time 4:00-6:00 pm (Please do not arrive earlier than 4:00 pm)
Where North Wales Running Company 111 N. Main St North Wales, PA 19454 GPS: HERE Packet Pick-Up Rules: ~ You CAN pick-up packets for friends. ~ Parents can pick-up their children's packet(s) without the athlete being present.
Coming to packet pick-up is not mandatory although it is highly recommended as to avoid lines and unneeded stress on race morning.
Packet Pick-Up Special Offer: "All race participants receive 10% off their purchases during packet pickup (excludes clearance items) and all socks are buy 3 pair, get 1 free!"

What time Suggested arrival time: 6:00-6:30 am
Timing Anklet Note: All participants will receive a timing anklet that will be worn on either ankle for timing purposes. These anklets MUST be returned once they cross the finish line. There will be a crew member at the finish line collecting these anklets. There will be a $15 charge for all non-returned anklets. Note: If you pick up your anklet at packet pick-up the Thursday before the race and do not attend the race itself, you must return the anklet or l be charged $15. Parking Note All parking for this event will be at the Penllyn Club (GPS: HERE) EXCEPT if you must leave before 9:15 am! Note: If you must leave before 9:15 am you will park on Regency Circle and walk a short walk to the club (5-minute walk) (See map below for early departure parking)
ONCE AGAIN, NO-ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE PENLLYN CLUB BEFORE 9:15 AM.
Important Bike Check Note There will be NO BIKE check at the event. Please have your bike & helmet thoroughly checked to make sure that it is in perfect working order BEFORE race day!

Start of both Triathlon & Duathlon 8:00 VERY IMPORTANT! EVERY TRIATHLETE & DUATHLETE is responsible to review the course maps below and become familiar with each one BEFORE race day!
It’s very important that each athlete know exactly… HOW MANY LAPS THEY WILL SWIM, HOW MANY OUT & BACKS THEY WILL BIKE, AND WHERE EXACTLY THEY WILL RUN.
Yes, there will be certified lifeguards at the pool and PLENTY of very experienced Scoogie Events CREW members out on the course directing the athletes and ensuring the safety of each athlete. BUT each athlete needs to know how many laps they will swim, how many loops they will bike and exactly where they will run!
