Initial Mile proudly presents to you Anime Fan and Fitness Festival, the festival where anime and fitness collide.

Join us for our second annual Anime Fan and Fitness Festival in Gilroy, CA on Saturday, September 19, 2026! This year we are leveling up. We are not only excited to bring back our 5k run event, but are also excited to announce our new experiences, the Little Ninja Dash and our new 5k Hybrid Quest. 

Our new and unique race, 5k Hybrid Quest will take warriors on a journey to become the warrior of their universe as they won't only run the course, but will step fully into their story as they face a series of physical and mental challenges inspired by the anime universe before making their triumphant return to Victory Village.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, a dedicated fitness enthusiast, a creative cosplayer, or a passionate anime fan, this event was made just for you. All experience levels are encouraged so gather your friends, family, lace up your shoes, and step into a world where miles meet manga as we bring anime energy to every stride. Cosplay is highly encouraged, so suit up as your favorite character and make this run a true celebration of anime culture!
