Tule River Parkway 5K Walk Run

5K walk run starting on the extended section of the Tule River Parkway. The route starts at Fallen Hero’s Park near Plano Street and the turnaround is west of the Native Plant Gardens section. The event is for both the runner who wants informal timing and individuals and families who just want to run or walk for health and fun. Fallen Hero’s Park is a popular location featuring picnic tables, a jungle gym, slides, and swings, plus a basketball court and a splash pad. Come and enjoy the new connections created by the improvements to the City of Porterville trail system. This event benefits the Tule River Parkway Association, a local environmental nonprofit whose mission is to enhance and restore the river habitat and improve public access to the river corridor. Please consider an additional donation to TRPA as you register for this race.
