Volunteer Opportunity: Feeding San Diego

MWR VADM Martin Liberty is volunteering at Feeding San Diego on Thursday, November 13, 6pm - 8pm to aid with food sorting at their Distribution Center. This two-hour, hands-on volunteer shift may include cleaning fresh produce, packing boxes of food, or sorting through food that has been donated. This is a great opportunity to give back to our local community. 

Register online to join our volunteer group (volunteer cap -12 people). Beginning November 6th, MWR Liberty will contact all signups by email. Signups will be required to confirm they are volunteering no later than November 12, 2025. Every helping hand counts, and we want to ensure all spots are filled to maximize our impact. If you can no longer make it, please notify us no later than November 12th. 

MWR Liberty transportation is provided and will depart from VADM Martin Liberty Center at 5:15pm. Please arrive a few minutes prior to ensure we leave on time. Select your preferred transportation plans during registration. An LOA will be provided for your community service hours. Volunteers can expect to receive their LOA within 7 days of their completed shift.
