Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome, with race distances for kids and adults winding through the city of Woodland. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or enjoying a relaxed stroll, the Woodland Turkey Trot is the perfect way to kick off your holiday with fitness, laughter, and community spirit
Enjoy fresh coffee from Gallery Coffee and delicious breakfast options from Brunch-in-a-box. Stick around for the medal ceremony and join us for the afterparty at Blue Note Brewing Company(10am - 12pm) in downtown Woodland.
In partnership with UC Davis Athletics, every Woodland Turkey Trot participant will get a free ticket to an upcoming UC Davis basketball game this December!

Each Turkey Trot participant will receive a promo code by email after the race to redeem one free ticket for either game. Plus, invite your family and friends—discounted tickets are just $7 for youth and $10 for adults!

FAQ's
Yes, strollers are allowed on the course during any of the race routes. Children in strollers do not need to pay for entry for the event.
No, we are not allowing pets on the race course at this event. Well-behaved pets are allowed at the registration area but must be on a leash at all times.
Service dogs are welcome as long as they stay on their leash during the entire event.
All entries give participants a short sleeved t-shirt and finisher medal.
Early packet pickup will be held at Blue Note Brewery Company on Saturday, November 22nd from 12-5pm. More information will be provided by email to registered runners.
Yes, there is race-day registration availalable at the Late Registration price of $60 for adults and $45 for youth.
Limited parking will be available at the Woodland Community and Senior Center. Other parking will be available on surrounding parking lots and streets.
The start and finish lines will be positioned at the Woodland Community and Senior Center.
There will be water stations both at the Woodland Community and Senior Center and along the course for race participants to use.
Yes there are restrooms available at registration/start of the race and along the race course.
The race will happen rain or shine! Please be aware that any weather can affect the course and may impact your timing in the race.
Alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed at the event. Feel free to stop by Blue Note Brewing Company after the race to celebrate!
Yolo Food Bank will accept donations of funds or canned/dry goods at the event. We have plenty of opportunities to also support us through volunteering or sponsorship efforts.
If you cannot stay after the race for the medal ceremony and received a medal, you can stop by Yolo Food Bank to pick it up during our normal operating hours of Monday through Friday 9am - 3pm.
