Dear Rising Phoenix 5K Participants,
We've made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to insufficient numbers and support. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. For all participants and sponsors currently registered, you will have the choice to donate your registration fee or receive a refund. Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days back to your original payment method. You don't need to take any action – we'll handle this automatically.
While we're disappointed we can't bring you this community event, our mission to support veterans and trauma survivors continues! Combat Recovery Foundation remains committed to providing life-saving peer coaching, community building, and advocacy programs.
Here's how you can still make a difference:
Monthly Support: Consider a small monthly donation ($5-25) to provide ongoing support for veterans in recovery
Volunteer: Join our team of dedicated volunteers who help facilitate our programs

Event Description
The Rising Phoenix Festival & 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention is Combat Recovery Foundation's first community awareness event. Runners, walkers, and participants of all ages, volunteers, and spectators will gather together in celebration of life. The 5K provides an important sense of community for suicide loss and trauma survivors and creates a space for us to remember our loved ones lost to suicide. You can be a part of this incredible day.
All proceeds help fund CRF's lifesaving services, including our suicide prevention programs, educational workshops, and one on one peer support services for Veterans and trauma survivors. Because of events like the 5K, CRF is able to make these vital services available to the community free of charge.
Packet Pickup begins at 8:00 am Race Day
Enjoy the 5K, patriotic flyover, live music, food trucks, beer garden, vendor booths and kids activity area.
