Operation Deltona Cares is a heartfelt initiative led by the Deltona Firefighters Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving and uplifting our community. Each year on Black Friday, the Foundation proudly kicks off "Operation Deltona Cares: Fill the Truck", a beloved tradition focused on spreading holiday cheer to local children and families in need.
The mission is simple yet powerful: fill a fire truck with toys to bring joy and hope during the holiday season. With the support of generous neighbors, friends, and community partners, this initiative transforms the spirit of giving into lasting memories for those who need it most.
This year, we’re excited to announce that through the Deltona Jingle Jog 5K, a portion of the event’s proceeds will directly support Operation Deltona Cares. Your participation in the race helps fund this meaningful cause and ensures more families experience the warmth and joy of the holidays.
