Crete Community Runners Association 3rd Annual 2025 Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk

Our 3rd Annual Turkey Trot brings the community of Crete together in a healthy way while giving back in the form of collecting donations to the Crete Food Pantry. Your generous monetary donation will support our non-profit organization as we continue to provide FREE events to the community. We are proud to help our community get stronger with every stride. This amazing community support will help us to provide more community events in the future! We sincerely thank you for welcoming us to Crete and hope to see you on the roads!

2023/2024 Turkey Trot accomplishments:

• We collected boxes of food that were donated to the Crete food pantry for the past two years
• 2023 registrants 70; 2024 registrants - 128!
• Families, runners, walkers and dogs all participated in this community event, and we were able to provide awards for winners based on sponsorships!
• In-kind donations from event attendees also help us keep the CCRA running all year long, and allow us to make donations to other local charities and events.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization we’re committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment to support people of all ability levels working to improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
