Lexington Legacy 5k

Your donation will support:

• Indoor pole vault runway
• Updated crosstraining equipment
• Uniforms
• Training & competition shoes
• Travel costs for national championship meets

By participating in the Lexington Legacy 5k, you are supporting nearly 300 LHS XC/TF athletes across all three seasons as they prepare for competition. While no athletic department does more to support the kids in its programs than here in Lexington, it has become increasingly difficult to keep up with the costs of paying for all of the needs of our growing program.

Donations to the race will help cover the cost of an indoor pole vault runway, which will allow LHS to be one of the only public schools in Massachusetts to provide space for their student-athletes to vault year-round without them having to pay for private facilities and coaching. Funds raised from this event will also support costs associated with travel for national championship meets. Additionally, your gift will allow any student-athletes who may lack the necessary funds to participate in our sport to obtain the equipment needed for training and competition. Simply put, this event will support our kids, give back to the local community, and continue this longstanding tradition around Lexington’s Thanksgiving week activities.
