My brother, Beau, is the bravest kid I know. He went with me to the Dr one day and I got to go home but he had to go to Helen Devos Children's Hospital right away.
When he came home, he had to have 6+ shots everyday and finger pricks every four hours all during Christmas break. He will have to have shots every day and when his monitor doesn't work right he still has to prick his fingers to check his blood sugar.
Beau doesn't complain or cry about it, he just acts like it's no big deal. I am so proud of him, I want to raise money to show him how proud I am and to help other kids like Beau.
Thank you for reading this and for any donation you are able to make. I hope you can come run my race too.
