Supporting Those Who Served and the Families Who Stand Beside Them
The Marine Corps League is proud to serve those who have served our nation. Through your generous donations, we are able to directly support local veterans, wounded warriors, and military families who face challenges no one should face alone.
In addition, your contribution helps power the Marine Corps League’s mission and extends critical support to the following programs and initiatives:
Fisher House Foundation: Since 1991, Fisher Houses have been a lifeline for military and veteran families during times of medical crisis. Built by the Fisher House Foundation and gifted to the military services and the Department of Veterans Affairs, these comfort homes allow families to stay together while a loved one receives medical care.
The Fisher House at Camp Lejeune—located within walking distance of the hospital and Wounded Warrior Complex—offers families a safe, welcoming “home away from home.” Here, families can cook meals, do laundry, rest, and find comfort in a compassionate environment surrounded by others who understand their journey. Fisher Houses receive no government or military funding; their continued operation depends largely on charitable donations. Your support ensures these homes remain a place of hope, dignity, and healing.
Wounded Warrior Battalion–East: (WWBn-E), based at Camp Lejeune, is dedicated to the care and recovery of wounded, ill, and injured Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Chaplains, along with their families. With seven detachments and a full-time team of more than 200 Marines, Sailors, and civilian professionals, WWBn-E provides comprehensive support throughout the recovery and transition process.
Funds supporting this mission are processed through Semper Fi & America’s Fund, helping ensure our Wounded Warriors receive the care, resources, and respect they have earned through their service.
Annual Toys for Tots Program: Each year, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program brings hope and joy to children in need by collecting and distributing new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season. From October through December, this program ensures that less fortunate children in our local communities experience the magic of Christmas—often during times of hardship for their families.
