For 37 years, PEI has been committed to providing access to the opportunity for d/hh children in New Mexico to hear and speak. But, this specialized education comes with a hefty price-tag of $30,000 per child/ per year.  
As a non-profit organization, we host fundraising events like the Sandia Resort & Casino Run to Break the Silence to support the operation of our programs and ultimately change the life outcomes of the children and families we serve. 
Your support makes it possible to retain the highest qualified staff, maintain the low student to teacher ratios (3/1) that our students need to be successful in learning to listen and talk, and offer tuition assistance to families. Because you decided to participate, children attending PEI have the ability to grow up to do and be anything they want to be because they can hear and communicate with the world around them.
