In deciding what this event is worth to you, below are some of the costs we project covering to host this adventure race for 100 participants:
- Insurance: $700 ($600 flat fee + $2/racer), or $7/racer
- Permitting: $700 ($25 fee application + $675 if application approved), or $7/racer
- Boats: $3,000, or $30/racer
- EMT: $500, or $5/racer
- USARA membership fee: $800, or $8/racer
- Other costs (maps, controls, etc.): $1,500, or $15/racer
Total projected costs: $7,200, or $72/racer
