The Sheboygan County YMCA is celebrating over 80 years as a volunteer-led, not for profit association dedicated to building self-respect and self worth in every member and program participant. YMCA programs are tools for building the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Our YMCA, like all Ys across the country, is open to people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. As part of our mission, no one is turned away for inability to pay. Our YMCA needs your support to carry on its mission. The YMCA Annual Campaign funds the Y Partner with Youth Program providing  scholarship Y memberships to at-risk and financially challenged children, teens, adults, and families.
Our YMCA continues to develop wellness programs to prevent chronic disease and help those manage an ongoing disease. We continue to offer the Y Livestrong Program for those recovering from cancer, Y Pre Diabetes Program and Parkinson’s Program as well as our family/child nutrition and exercise program.
Please consider sponsoring one or more children in the YMCA this coming year.
Gifts of all amounts help sustain the Partner with Youth Program. A $25 to $125 donation supports a child in a Y program such as swim lessons, youth sports, dance or gymnastics. $150 donation provides the funding of a one year Y membership, asset building programs, healthy lifestyle choices, mentors and a life changing experience for a needy and at-risk child or teen. The Y provides positive opportunities and direction to young people struggling to make the right choices; providing effective solutions to the challenges faced by kids, families and communities-well into the next decade and beyond.
