The 150 mile route is a grand loop around the Cabinet Mountains-a frontal range of the Rocky Mountains of Idaho and Montana-through gorgeous lake and river valleys, encompassing one upriver leg, two downriver legs and one huge lake!

CHAFE 80 Gran Fondo

For the 80 mile option riders and their bikes are bused to Troy after a hearty breakfast and the route follows the second half of the 150 mile route with a maximum grade is 8%. The route takes you along the West side of the Clark Fork River and along Lake Pend Oreille on paved back roads to bypass busy sections of the U.S. Highway 200.

The NEW 75 will be over 80% gravel, winding through the Baldy Mountain area, across State of Idaho endowment lands, and featuring forest roads, steady climbs, and unforgettable vistas of Lake Pend Oreille and the Selkirk Mountains. We expect this route to be about ~70 miles with nearly 9,000 feet of gain.
