Trail Ultra-Marathon Relay - Team Captains/ Relay members
The Ultra Relay consists of 7 laps of our course, totaling approximately 100 km (62 miles). While each participant can run a maximum of 50 km, the distance is calculated based on pairs running together.
The course primarily features a singletrack trail winding through the woods near farmland, characterized by rolling and rugged terrain with rocks, roots, and smoother sections. It is fully supported and stocked throughout.
Registration Details:
- Team registration fee: $175 for the first five teams registered.
- The team captain will handle the initial registration.
- Additional team members can register for free by selecting an existing team.
This event is a multi-lap ultra-marathon relay in which teams of three compete on a 4.5-mile loop within a single Open category. Teams are ranked based on the order they complete the 7 laps, which totals approximately 100 km (62 miles).
The first team to finish the total distance will be declared the winner. At all times, two runners must be on the course, rotating in the designated exchange area. Each runner will receive credit for a full lap of 4.5 miles. Therefore, when two runners complete one lap together, it counts as 9 miles (14.6 km). All three team members must complete at least 2 laps, which allows one runner to skip a single rotation.
The team captain registers first and pays the full team entry fee:
- $175 for the first 5 teams
- $190 for teams 6–10
- $224 for teams 11 and above
Additional teammates can join their respective teams later at no additional cost by selecting the existing team. Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall teams: $250 for first place, $150 for second, and $75 for third.
