Skiathlon 20k (10k classic + 10k skate)
New for 2026, the Skiathlon 20K: Competitors will ski 10k classic, switch skis while the clock is running, then ski another 10k skate style. A true challenge for all-around skiers!

Turtle River Skiathlon Individual (10k classic + 10k skate) - Virtual
This event is a 20k race with two disciplines performed by the same individual. The 10k classic ski leg and the the 10k skate leg can be skied whenever the competitor is out on the MECCA Trails and do not need to be skied on the same day.
The entire trail system is groomed regularly with a set of tracks and a skate lane. The Individual Pursuit will combine the times for each leg for a cumulative time and determination of the fastest skiers.

Turtle River Skiathlon Team (10k classic + 10k skate) - Virtual
The team Skiathlon challenges each member of a two-person team to complete the 10k course. One team member will stride the course using classic diagonal stride techniques, and his/her teammate will skate the course. The Team Pursuit will combine the times for each event for a cumulative time and determination of the fastest teams.

Mercer Springs Virtual Snowshoe Tour
The Mercer Springs Snowshoe Tour is a non-timed recreational event showcasing the beauty of the MECCA Trails.
The popular Klondike Trail leaves from behind the chalet and winds through forests and wetlands for just over 1 mile of ungroomed beauty. The Mercer Springs Trail leaves the chalet on the opposite side of Fierick Road, climbs through an upland forest of hardwoods and pines then crosses the Mercer Springs, where you'll see a vast wetland and walk across a beaver dam before merging with the Klondike Trail. Participants can choose 1, 2 or 3 miles of looped trails.
Participants can choose to self-report their time for the 2.1 mile Mercer Springs trail.
