Roots & Ruts Off-Road 5K Run/Walk & Sensory-Friendly Obstacle Course

This 5K features a course through the North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area, a 160-acre natural area preserves comprised of mesic Flatwoods, wet flatwoods, depression marsh, and dome swamp ecosystems. The Sensory-Friendly Obstacle Course is perfect for all ages and abilities and will feature an array of obstacles that involve jumping, balancing, water, crawling, and more located at The Els Center of Excellence. Can't make it to the race? No need to stress, you can join in on the fun virtually!

Post Race Expo

At the Post-Race Expo, we will have vendor booths consisting of micro-businesses with products created by individuals with autism, race sponsors, and autism employment partners. The Expo will also have performances, activities, race awards, delicious food, and more, a morning you won't want to miss.

Race Schedule

7:00 AM: Parking Opens
7:45 AM: Welcome & National Anthem
8:00 AM: Race Expo & Race Begin
11:00 AM: Race & Other Activities Close

Packet pickup will be held at the Big Easy Cafe by Ernie Els at the Els Center of Excellence on:

• April 17, 2024: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• April 18, 2024: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• April 19, 2024: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Additional Details

• Every runner will be provided with his/her own disposable timing tag which will be affixed to the race bib. AccuChipUSA will record the net timing for each participant.
• Strollers and pets are not allowed in the race.
• On race day, parking directors will assist you once you enter the gates at The Els Center of Excellence.
