ELITE COMPETITION
Men and Women - Competition Heats for individuals and teams who want to compete for prize money and official times. Open to able bodied and adaptive individuals.
Podium opportunity and Awards OVERALL MALE & FEMALE & OVERALL MALE & FEMALE ADAPTIVE:

Awards will also be presented to the top three finishers (male and female) in the following age groups:
13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and above
Based on participants age at the end of the calendar year.
*Must be registered and compete in the ELITE HEAT only, to be eligible for awards.
*Elite and Professional athletes will be issued a wrist band at packet pickup. Failure to complete an obstacle will result in wrist band removal on the course, and will be calculated as a 1hr penalty to your over all time.
*Elite competition waves are by default a 2 lap course.
OPEN COMPETITON
*Open Competition Waves are by default a 2 lap course. Open athletes may opt for 1 Lap and finish (Please notify the course marshal or timer). Open competition athletes are not eligible for prize money.
OPEN heats are open to all capabilities - able bodied and adaptive. Individual racers and teams welcome! Fun, challenging, competition for all!
KIDS and FAMILY
*Kids & Family Waves are a 1 lap course (Approx. 1-1.5 miles). Kids include children under the age of 13 and must be accompanied by an adult on the course. All participants must be registered to enter the course.
Family Heats are open to all kids and/or families and teams - All capabilities welcome!

HILDERVAT is excited to be combining forces with the Patric Young Foundation to create the ultimate inclusive obstacle course adventure. Designed for all physical abilities, adaptive athletes will be able to compete and tackle the entire race.
About the Foundation:
With a mission to help those facing life-altering injuries, the Patric Young Foundation works to provide financial, emotional, and physical support to those who need it most.
Patric is recovering from his own life-altering injury after a car accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Determined to be the best version of himself, for his family and adaptive community, Patric is choosing joy as he supports those lost in the darkness of their circumstance.
