There will be a total of 3 aid stations. Water will be available at each aid station. Aid Stations will be at approximately miles 3.5, 6/7, and 9.5. Runners will past each aid station twice.
In an effort to better the environment this is a cup less race.
It has a few slight hills for your enjoyment. There's a little over 200 feet of elevation gain.
it is mostly on asphalt but it does have a few areas that are chip/tar along with some concrete mixed in.
Yes - runners will run back near the starting/parking area which is around mile 3.5 and additional restrooms are located near the turn around in the golf course which is around mile 9.5.
Yes - as long as you contact us before registration closes you can transfer though you will be responsible for any additional or processing fees.
Dogs are not allow on the course. This is for the comfort and safety of other runners.
There is a 3 hour cut off.
There is no race day registration.
Yes, on RunSignup go to My Registration (top right); under Upcoming Events select Fly with the Eagles Half Marathon; under the Participant's name select Manage Registration; scroll towards bottom and select Add-Ons; it will then pull up a selection of all the add-on options; select the item and indicate how many; once complete select continue to finish the transaction should.
No - there will be NO refunds or deferments.
If you are staying at a hotel we recommend seeing if they will allow a late checkout. Other options are purchasing a day-pass at one of the local gyms.
Yes - the event will go on rain or shine.

Yes - there is parking located at Hickory Ridge Golf Course along with other areas you may catch a glimpse of them throughout the course. Please be mindful while driving on the course to watch out for runners. Please respect local residents and not accidentally block an entrance or impede traffic.
Yes - you may have someone else pick it up for you but they will need a copy of your registration and something showing you have given your consent. Please note that hoodies are only guaranteed if picked up before the start of the race.
Unfortunately, hoodies are only guaranteed if picked up before the start of the race. If we have any extras left over after the race you are more than welcome to get one.
All finishers are guaranteed a medal.
Yes - parking is free.
Hoodies and finisher medals are typically mailed out the week following the actual event.
Once registration closes you will receive an email with directions on how to submit your time. You can also submit your time by going to your profile in RunSignUp, click on Fly with the Eagles Manage Registration, select Virtual Race, scroll down to Submit Results, there should be three boxes to submit your time, once complete click Submit Results. Or you can go to the Results tab and there will be a prompt button to select to Submit Virtual Results.
