Aid Stations & Pit Area
At the Start/Finish area at the stadium, there will be a drop/pit area for you to stash your stuff for the day and take as many breaks as long as you want during the event. No tents larger than 10x10 and no alcohol is allowed on site. The venue was recently remodeled. NO TENT STAKES ARE ALLOWED unless under the trees.
There will be one food aid station and one hydration station at the start/finish, and another hydration station around the midpoint of the loop. We will have Tailwind at the aid stations and Pickle Juice Sport.
Our menu consists of traditional ultra snacks like chips, candy, PB&J, baked goods, potatoes, soup, etc. Food like sandwiches will be made to order, and yes this will slow you down. Plan for that. We will have a more specific real food menu as we get closer to race day, and we traditionally have a Saturday night pizza party for the 100 mile and 24 hour runners at night.
Dietary Restrictions: We are a very vegan friendly race and strive to provide vegan alternatives whenever possible.
We will have a ton of ice for runners to put in their ice bandanas and bottles. We do not provide crew coolers with ice. We are working on having ice available for sale for runner crew with details to come later.
This race is a cupless race. This means we do not plan to have a ton of plastic cups for you waiting at the aid stations. Please plan to bring a bladder/pack, water bottle, or reusable cup to use for the day.
