Description
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the annual Scarecrow Scrambler on October 25th, 2025. The
race begins and ends at the Jefferson Civic Center, 65 Kissam Street, steps away from beautiful
downtown Jefferson.
This year’s theme is the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Come dressed in costume or your favorite
running gear. Wonderful Wizard of Oz costumes encouraged! Prizes given for the best
costumes and best themed costume. Medals will be awarded to age group winners.
The race, hosted by Jefferson Kiwanis Club and Unity Masonic Lodge, is a fundraiser for local
community projects such as the Kiwanis Literacy Launch and Masonic Children’s Home. So click
your ruby shoes-or your favorite running shoes-and follow the Yellow Brick Road to the 2025
Scarecrow Scrambler!

Course
The 5K course starts and finishes at the Library and runs through adjacent neighborhoods.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following
5-year age groups 1st, 2nd and 3rd place: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and Over.
Awards will be given for the best costumes! The Wonderful Wizard of Oz costumes are encouraged!

We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
