No! Runners must sign up online by Friday, April 24 at 8:00PM AND select the add-on "race day packet pickup" in order to obtain their materials race morning.
Those who do NOT select "race day packet pickup" must pay the $10 fee before obtaining their race bib byway of cash, check, or by purchasing on the Cleveland 10-Miler "store" option.

Every finisher receives a medal and race shirt.
Runners who can no longer attend the event are highly recommended to still obtain their race materials at early packet pickup.
If a participant can no longer attend the event, and missed early packet pickup, they may still obtain their medal/shirt within 2-weeks of the race by emailing roadracing@hermescleveland.com ahead of time to pick up at the Hermes Sports Office.
Yes, water stops are located roughly every 2 miles for the 10-Mile course fueled with water, gatorade, and gels at mile 6.
Yes, but please keep volume low to hear those around you.
No. Due to the nature of the route, dogs are not permitted.

Yes, parking is free at both Upper and Lower Edgewater and nearby side streets.
Yes. Cleveland 10 Miler participants have 2.5 hours to complete the course (15min/mile pace)
Those who do not believe they will complete the course at that time are asked to drop down to the 4 Mile race. Those who are on the course after the course closes will not receive an official finisher time and the finish line may be broken down.
There is no timelimit for the 4 Mile race.
Yes! The bag check is located right at the start line at Upper Edgewater. Those bags will be delivered to the finish line at Lower Edgewater for easy access after the race.
Runners must bring their own backpack/bag. They do not need to be clear, but the race bib tag must be torn off and pinned to the bag for numerical organization.
Yes, restrooms are located at Upper Edgewater, and portos will be placed all along the race route.
Yes, but we recommend they have your confirmation email handy just in case.
Runners who opted for packet mailing can expect to receive their items the week of April 13.

- Participants must maintain a 16-minute-per-mile pace for the 10 Miler to ensure road support and safety.
- The course will close at 10:30 AM and those who do not complete the route within this time may not receive an official result and the start/finish may be closed down
- There is no pace requirement for the 4 Mile Run/Walk
- Those who need to drop down to the 4-Mile to ensure they finish in enough time can transfer their event at any packet-pickup.

Transfers, Deferrals & Refunds
We know plans change — and we’ve got options.
Transfers
You can transfer your registration:

To Virtual — switch to the virtual event and run on your own time.

To Another Runner — free option via RunSignUp (no direct bib swaps).

To Another Hermes Race — must complete by April 17.
Eligible events: Parrot Head Run 5K (July 19) or Hofbrauhaus 5K/10K (August 4).

Refunds
Like most live events, similar to a plane ticket, or concert, no refunds are issued for any reason.
