Description
Join us for the 2025 Larry St. Onge Memorial Run to Benefit Others!
Larry St. Onge inspired all those that knew him to strive for the greater good, and to help and support others. This Charity 10K, 5K, and Walk was created to honor Larry and carry his legacy forward by doing what we can to benefit those in need. Over the last 4 years, we have raised over $25,000 for selected charities. This year's event will support two charities - the American Heart Association and the Naperville Area Humane Society.
10% of registration fees and 100% of your charity donations will go to your selected charity.
The American Heart Association fights against heart disease and stroke by funding lifesaving research, advocating for healthier communities, improving patient care and working for equitable health for all people.
The Naperville Area Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter for dog and cat adoption, foster care, and owner surrenders serving the western suburbs of Chicago. Your donations help the Naperville Area Humane Society support these animals medical and shelter needs and help save animal lives.
Join us for a great fall race on the crushed limestone trails at beautiful Danada forest Preserve in Wheaton to "give back". A Charity Walk will also be held for those wishing to participate but at a more relaxed pace.
If you are not able to run in this event, you can participate as a remote runner, or simply donate in memory of Larry. By running or donating we are making a difference.
Race location: Danada Forest Preserve - The main entrance is on Naperville Road, 1 mile south of Butterfield Road and 0.75 mile north of Interstate 88. The headquarters office is on the west side of Naperville Road at 3S580 Naperville Road.
Course description: Forest Preserve limestone trails in the nationally designated Danada-Herrick Regional Trail (PDF) wind through prairie, woodland and marsh habitats, providing scenic excursions.
